Calling All Digital Scrapbookers....

Is anyone into Digital Scrapbooking? I've been looking at some of your sites and am so impressed with your mad, clickin' skills! Can anyone recommend a free trial site? What's your preference with software -- Photoshop, etc? I'm looking for some summer projects & need your help!

Hey Dana,
I am a consultant for Heritage Makers. I don't know if you have ever heard about that. It is all done online, but you actually make books and publish them. It is really cool. You can go to my website to check it out. www.kierstinleavitt.com. I can send some of the books that I have done with Josh to work so that you can check them out. There are all different sizes to choose from, plus you can make posters, cards and calendars. Check out my site and let me know what you think.

Hey.. I really like your layout!! I just changed mine today and looked at your site and was like Dana has good taste! :) Remember Lynette and KC from the 'apartment complex' she is really into digital scrapbooking. I was looking at her link from Wendy's the other day and she is really good at it too. She has a blog that is just her scrapbook pages. She has like a whole bunch of links for scrapbooking stuff and ideas and tells you how she did her pages. Check hers out.

I've actually heard that Adobe Photoshop elements is the best primary software to get; there are lots of free downloads that you can add to it later.

Dana-
My other friend just asked the same thing- here is a link to her findings....

Mostly free sites- not sure about the software- but I think photoshop elements has a 30 day free trial.
My sis in law likes the creative memories program- but its $50.
Good luck! I think I am the only paper scrapper left in this world! :(

Hey Dana! I'm just transitioning to digital scrapbooking. I use Memory Mixer. It's just a basic software package ($50-80 at craft stores), but it's super easy to use, and does some pretty cool things. You can check it out at MemoryMixer.com. I can send you some of my pages if you want to see some examples, or the Memory Mixer site also has examples and demos.

Hey there....I'm still old school, but I have been experimenting (as evidence of the constant change on my blog). So far, I've just been downloading free digital kits and working in Photoshop (because I know it and like it). There is a link to a blog design site on my page that will lead you to a few links that will allow you to download free kits. Let me know what you find out...I'm thinking digital is now the way to go. Good to hear from you!

I got the Photoshop Elements 6.0 for Christmas and love it. I will never go back to doing by hand. This is so much easier and cheaper. When I move home, we should get together and I can show you some things.
