Why I'm Not a Good Mormon Wife

These are all the reasons I am not a good Mormon wife:

*I don't own an SLR camera to take gorgeous pictures of my child or have a photography blog or business on the side.

*We don't have our family pictures taken around an old-fashioned truck or railroad tracks. We've never even had decent family pictures taken.

*I can't bake bread. In fact, I'm lucky to get a decent batch of frozen Rhodes Rolls to work.

*I hate BYU sports. I refuse to watch. I refuse to make blue cookies or punch to watch said BYU sports.

*I couldn't dream of canning. Freezer jam is as far as I go.

*A garden? Ha! I can't keep houseplants alive.

*I would have no idea how to sew my own designer curtains.

Be not offended by my observations. Sometimes I don't fit the mold. Sometimes I make myself laugh at my attempts. Thought you might have a laugh too!

I am laughing so hard right now! This is SO true, and I think at times we all feel the same way!!! You are such a cool wife and mother...Keller and Chad are lucky guys!

You're so cute! All of those reasons are why I love you.

Amen! You're hilarious Dana...my favorite was the one about the family pictures and the railroad tracks! At least Heavenly Father doesn't judge us by all of those things!

Ummm...anybody that can accomplish ALL those things has issues. Besides..BYU is truly an evil entity.
In my mind... you far exceed all those things. Truly, I'm jealous of ya!

I just don't know what to say! I can't believe you are a mormon wife. . . Just kidding. That's funny though.

There is no reason for you to fit any kind of "mold". I don't qualify for most of those either. Though I do have an SLR and love it. But nobody pays me to take their pictures. Aside from that- I'm with you on every one.
