Labor Day Festivities

Luckily, our Labor Day did not include much labor.

Grandpa D [my Dad] came into town for a little Labor Day Fun with Keller Monster.

Friday night included a little bowling at Red Rock Lanes. This was Keller's first bowling experience.....

...he gave it a thumbs up.

Saturday included a trip to Boulder City, NV to eat breakfast at the world-famous [at least if it's Guy's world from Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives] Coffee Cup Cafe. Wonderful chicken fried steak with gravy [yes, for breakfast....] and a pork verde breakfast burito [yep, still breakfast...] that also got a thumbs up in my book!
After a little [or major calorie-fest that we had] breakfast, you must burn it off with a little fun at the park:

We followed that up with a visit to my Dad's favorite Las Vegas landmark -- Bass Pro Shop:
Keller's favorite part @ Bass Pro: 'Can we go back to the golf course?'

Sunday included a bit of relaxation & a drive through beautiful Red Rock State Park

Thanks for the 'laboring' that is done year-round to make a little, fun visit like this possible.

I love Boulder City it was a little haven away from Vegas growing up. I love Bass Pro and our little guy would have to agree with Keller the best is the golf course (HEHE). Good to see your labor day was full of fun.
