Lauren's Blessing

Lauren was blessed by Chad on July 5 in our New Hope LDS Ward in Leander, Texas. She wore a beautiful white dress made by Grandma Marchant with a pink polka dot bow (polka dots & bows always for our girl). She also wore shoes that were mine when I was a baby, a bracelet made by Aunt Paige Pryor & was wrapped in a blanket made by Kimmy's grandmother. She was truly wrapped in love from those near & far away.

We were lucky to have Grandma & Papa Marchant here in Texas & the Wallis' drove down from Dallas/Ft. Worth for the weekend. 

A father is his son's first hero & his daughter's first love.

Chad blessed to have a courageous spirit that will follow her throughout her life; to have faith; to have strength to stand up for the values she knows are true. He also encouraged her to look up to those in her own family as examples and to find strong friends. It was a tender blessing & day.
