June 2015

Keller starts summer vacation. We put together our annual 'Things to Do to Make Summer not Bummer' list.
...........................................................
Keller spent 3 days at Cub Scout Day Camp. He fished, learned archery, visited a museum, shot BB guns - basic boy heaven. Chad volunteered one day - He experienced 8 year-old boy chaos.

.........................................................
Our buddy Liz took a Friday Austin Adventure with us. We ate Pieology Pizza, toured various Friday Night Lights locations, ate gigantic dessert donuts from Gordoughs [as quoted by Liz - 'Better than any Utah Mormon peach cobbler hands down.'] and found some of Austin's weirdness.

.......................................................
Took a Saturday afternoon to visit Georgetown, TX - just 20 minutes from home. We toured the Williamson County Courthouse & Museum, checked out a street fair, & ate at a Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives find - Monument Cafe [awesome biscuits, chicken fried steak & peach jam).

.......................................................
Been having lots of rainy days. Locals say the weather usually isn't this unpredictable.
......................................................
Went to a Round Rock Express baseball game with friends & witnessed this awesome sunset - after a long downpour. Apparently we had 3" of rain at our house while we were gone.

.......................................................
Another Saturday outing to see the Pennybacker Bridge & Mt. Bonnell.
