We sold my beloved white Chevy Tahoe. I could have lamented for a whole post just on my undying love of that SUV. Days spent climbing hills & splashing in huge puddles in the desert. I'll spare you the tears. Gas was costing us a fortune with it almost always being over $4 /gallon here in So. Cal & everytime something went wrong it cost us $1000+. We sent her off into the sunset with a nice family from Oceanside. As Celine lamented, 'My heart will go on...' We have leased a zippy black Honda Civic that is small, fast & has all the modern features - love the Bluetooth that connects to my phone & plays my music.

Don't think Chad & I have both been home together on a weeknight for 3 weeks. And just so you know - Spring Break is no break when in graduate school or when you work in higher education.

Had a bunch of fun with a pesky leprachun who visited our house & wreaked havoc all day on St. Patrick's Day. Was hoping to get some great photos with all the fun we had...alas, it didn't happen. So -- that leprachun kept running loose & finally disappeared at the end of the day leaving some chocolate gold coins behind.

Had to fly up to Las Vegas this week for an SUU Admissions event. Took the first flight of the day, ran around working most of the day, pulled off a successful program w/colleagues amp; took the last flight of the day back home. Made for one long day. Chad also had to fly to San Fran last week for a Alliant Univeristy Board of Trustees Meeting - 2 days of meetings with no real breaks. When is vacation?
